There are a lot of good tips out there for getting started being on-camera. The ones I have found most useful are:
- Practice while walking around the house
- Be natural
- Don’t give up – keep recording videos
- Smile
- The camera is my friend
- Tension and release: Consciously tensing muscles then conscientiously relaxing them
- Breath deeply
- Trust the knowledge, abilities, and preparation I have done
- Picture people behind the camera
- Stand on the balls of my feet / lean forward (video 4 blow has an example)
