Find what works for you. Some people like a script. Others prefer talking points. Some wing it. We recommend some kind of a plan. The plan usually includes:
- A hook / video introduction
- Organized content
- Call to action
Use storyboards to plan your shots. You can work out alot of the story elements before you begin shooting using simple drawings.
We often use Powerpoint as a multimedia development tool:
- The main slide section is used to show the imagery,
- and the comments section of the slide is used to describe the shot and what is happening (ie camera movement, dialogue, effects, audio etc)
Remember shorter videos are more effective. The length depends on the content.
